a word from the artist
   Over the past ten years I have enjoyed the opportunity to record contemporary jazz and I have albums and CDs released throughout the world. In my travels, I have played in many situations with many musicians. Wherever I went, there was always a willingness by the players to be spontaneous, and make the best music possible. When I was asked to record this project I thought it would be great to keep the music all acoustic and as natural as possible, and to try to capture the spirit of spontaneity that I believe is the essence of the holiday season. We recorded all of the songs live to give the music as much feel as possible. Some of the music was created in the studio as we were recording it. I hope you all enjoy listening, and most of all I hope you enjoy these impulses that remind you that there is more to life than meets the eye, tis the holiday season.
